MBR Membrane Compared to traditional wastewater treatment methods, bioreactors offer advantages such as superior treatment efficiency and a smaller footprint. In recent years, they have experienced rapid growth in China's wastewater treatment industry. MBR Membrane Throughout the entire application process of the bioreactor, it is essential to ensure proper daily maintenance and upkeep, guaranteeing the normal and stable operation of the membrane microbial CPU—and ultimately extending its lifespan. MBR Membrane The service life of the component, reducing the membrane MBR Membrane The operational costs of a bioreactor are designed to deliver significant utility value. MBR Membrane Routine inspections of bioreactors include the following categories:
1. Status of the Hydrolysis-Acidification Tank: Regularly check whether the dust content in the hydrolysis-acidification tank meets the specified standards, and also verify if the tank is uniformly filled. If the inspection reveals significant unevenness or if the tank’s contents deviate from the standard values, immediate corrective actions should be taken to prevent more serious issues from arising.
2. Water Level: Check Immediately MBR Membrane Is the bioreactor water level normal—everyone should ensure the water level is always kept above the MBR membrane support structure.
3. Odor and Color of the Activated Sludge Process: If the sludge exhibits unusual appearance or odor, immediately check each relevant parameter—such as MLSS, pH, temperature, DO, sludge viscosity, and BOD loading—to identify the root cause and address the issue promptly.
4. Transmembrane Pressure Difference: Regularly monitor changes in the transmembrane pressure difference. If the pressure difference suddenly starts to increase, it indicates membrane fouling—typically caused by abnormal aeration tank conditions or deteriorating sludge characteristics. When this occurs, immediately perform appropriate chemical cleaning on the membrane components, then recheck whether the transmembrane pressure difference has returned to normal levels.
5. Temperature: MBR Membrane The normal temperature inside the bioreactor should ideally remain between 15°C and 40°C. If, during actual operation, the temperature unexpectedly rises or drops, immediate cooling or insulation measures should be implemented to ensure proper functioning.
6. pH Level: In a normally functioning MBR membrane bioreactor, the pH should ideally remain within the range of 6 to 8. If, during actual operation, it’s not possible to maintain the pH within this range, you can adjust it by adding appropriate acidic or alkaline substances to the wastewater treatment process. This ensures the wastewater pH stays within the optimal range, safeguarding system performance. MBR Membrane All systems in the bioreactor are functioning normally. When adding an alkaline substance, it has been suggested that lime slurry should be avoided as much as possible, as it can easily lead to carbonate fouling on the membrane.
7. Dissolved Oxygen (DO Level): MBR Membrane The DO level in the bioreactor should normally be above milligrams per liter. If this reference value isn’t taken into account, it could lead to exceeding the capacity of the larger hydrolysis-acidification tank. In such a scenario, it’s crucial to immediately implement appropriate measures—such as adjusting the hydrolysis-acidification tank parameters—to ensure that the DO levels remain within the normal range.
MBR Membrane When using a bioreactor in daily operations, it is essential to immediately conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on all seven key components, while also keeping meticulous records of its operational status. If any issues are detected, promptly implement appropriate and effective corrective measures to ensure the MBR membrane bioreactor operates reliably and efficiently, with effluent quality consistently meeting specified standards.
